Summary:
Kimani Hunt a 19 year old who plays in a basketball
team at DCCC Storm at Davidson County Community College. He serves as a role
model for students on and off the court. He has a great point average of a 3.7.
Recruiters from the University Northwestern Ohio had offered him a scholarship
to play basketball. He played with the Storms in 2010 with NJCAA National
Championship tournament. He has very high standards both academically and in
the team.
Reflection:
Kimani’s head coach Matt Ridge said, “Kimani Hunt has
been a leader for us the last few years both on and off the court. His high
standard of excellence has helped us win many games, but it’s also helped him
achieve a lot of success in the classroom, and we are certainly proud of him.” I
would feel proud to be told this about oneself. It feels that you have the
potential to do many wonderful things. Kimani says that he hopes to pursue a
career in sports management.
